Byline Bank has created a new social campaign to build on its wider “small business Saturday” campaign.
“Small business everyday” showcases one of its business banking customers per day on social media to highlight the importance of small businesses over the Christmas period.
Stephen Ball, senior vice president and head of business banking at Byline, said leveraging the bank’s social media platform is crucial to increasing the visibility of small businesses.
“While Small Business Saturday helps create visibility for these hardworking businesses, we wanted to do more to ensure that holiday shoppers keep small businesses front-of-mind during one of the most heavily trafficked shopping seasons of the year,” said Ball.
The campaign will be posted throughout December, taking advantage of the seasonal Christmas traffic.
The profiled posts will appear across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, consisting of short videos displaying each small business.
Byline will include a diverse range of spotlighted companies, such as the nonprofit American Veterans Community Trust Company, Silverland Bakery, and Ashe Counselling and Coaching.
Positioning itself as “neighbourhood bank,” Byline has provided more than £48 million ($60 million) in community development investments and over £540,000 ($680,000) in community grants, donations, and sponsorship.
Byline Bank is headquartered in Chicago and is a top five small business administration lender in the United States.
