Global payments business Guavapay has signed a three year partnership deal with Crystal Palace Football Club.
The deal will see the release of limited edition MyGuava Cards featuring a Crystal Palace design. These will be available to users through the MyGuava App and there will be chances for fans to win prizes after spending with the card.
The MyGuava App is for those seeking to mate local and global payments, simplified card transactions, earn cashback on card purchases or wishing to split the cost of transactions with friends. It also allows users to track spending and manage their finances.
Grant Wyatt, head of partnerships at Guavapay said the deal will provide Crystal Palace fans with a unique rewards scheme that will provide many benefits and opportunities to show support for the team.
He added: “Crystal Palace are committed to enhancing the fan experience and we could not be prouder to contribute to their fostering of a deeper connection between the club and its supporters.”
Barry Webber, CCO at Crystal Palace, said the partnership offers fans a unique rewards scheme.
“Guavapay are an innovator in the payment industry with extensive in-house knowledge and expertise to provide the very best solutions, and we’re pleased to now be officially working with them,” he added.
The news comes ahead of the 2024/25 Women’s Super League season which will see Crystal Palace promoted to the UK’s top tier from the Women’s Championship.
