NatWest has activated its sponsorship of Team GB in its first ad campaign in the run up to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The TV campaign is designed to inspire the nation to take action for a better tomorrow, while also encouraging support for Team GB in the upcoming games.
Margaret Jobling, chief marketing officer at NatWest, said the 360 athletes taking part in Team GB are the perfect partners to spread the message of “whatever your goal, taking action is the important first step.”
“Whether that’s saving for a new pair of trainers or your next family holiday, setting up your side hustle or performing in one of the world’s biggest and most inspiring sporting events – action feels good, and at NatWest we want to help you achieve those goals.”
The campaign showcases the power of motivation and momentum in achieving goals and features Olympic medallists alongside real NatWest colleagues.
The multi-channel campaign – which will run across TV and cinema, radio, OOH and DOOH sites, bus wraps, social, and web – is designed to help galvanise the nation into action in this Olympic year.
In addition to the brand advert, NatWest will also be delivering two product-focused campaigns: one aimed at inspiring people to save towards their goals with the NatWest app and the second encouraging SMEs to level up their business by taking part in the NatWest Accelerator programme.
The campaign will run from February and throughout the Olympics across all internal and external media channels.
