US Registered Investment Adviser Hennion & Walsh Asset Management has launched a new advertising campaign encouraging investors to seek a second opinion on their wealth management strategy, created by London-based agency AML.

The campaign builds on the firm's The Second Opinion People brand platform, introduced in 2024, and aims to reassure investors who are uncertain about their financial future by offering a free second opinion on their existing arrangements.

Titled No Shadow of a Doubt, the campaign uses the ampersand in the Hennion & Walsh name as a visual representation of the shift from financial uncertainty to confidence.

Creative executions feature a question-mark-shaped shadow that transforms into an ampersand when investors decide to seek a second opinion. The concept runs across television, radio, press, social media and digital display, with sound design used to reflect the same transition in audio advertising.

The campaign addresses the concerns of people approaching retirement, including uncertainty about investment performance, potential returns and decisions about their financial future.

Hugo Bone, executive creative director at AML, said the campaign was designed to make seeking a second opinion feel like a natural step rather than an act of disloyalty towards an existing wealth manager.

Steffen Pelz, senior vice-president of marketing at Hennion & Walsh, said the campaign aimed to encourage investors to review their current strategies, ask questions and explore alternative approaches with greater confidence.

The campaign will launch nationally across US television and radio, followed by newspaper and magazine advertising, paid social media and digital display.
