WTW targets pension community with podcast launch
WTW Investments has launched a new podcast for the pensions community, aimed at cutting through the noise and offering practical insight into a fast-evolving sector.
The Pensions Perspectives Podcast is positioned as a go-to source for discussion and debate, with new episodes released every other Wednesday across Apple Podcasts, YouTube and Spotify. Each episode explores emerging trends, innovation and strategic thinking, drawing on perspectives from leading industry experts.
Early instalments tackle some of the most pressing - and often misunderstood - issues facing trustees, employers and members. One episode, “Gen Z and pensions: Swipe right for retirement”, examines the volume of commentary around pensions and retirement, much of which can be misleading.
It highlights the importance of meeting members where they are, listening closely to their needs, using relevant data and providing clear, straightforward guidance to support better decision-making.
Another episode challenges long-held assumptions about investment risk. In episode three, “Do you think gilts are risk-free? Think again”, the podcast explores how the UK pensions landscape has evolved and questions whether traditional definitions of gilt risk have kept pace.
