Newly launched wealth manager Six Degrees plans to differentiate itself from competitors in the industry through its human-centric approach.
The co-founders, ex-RBC senior leaders Katherine Waller and Oliver Saiman, said they aimed to build a business that connects with its clients on a human level through its broad content offering.
Saiman told Financial Promoter the company’s marketing strategy focuses on understanding the purpose of its clients’ wealth – a key differentiator from other organisations within the industry.
“Content will avoid the usual financial planning topics and instead cover broader non-wealth management issues such as the paradox of choice, AI, and power dynamics within relationships,” he said.
“Aside from social content we’re aiming to put together small, focused and interesting events for clients, and we believe there is enormous value in introducing clients to one another – the famous six degrees of separation principle,” said Saiman.
The firm will share regular content through channels such as LinkedIn and on the insights section of its website.
The wealth manager is committed to addressing the “High-Net-Worth Advice Gap,” which it says has a negative impact on high-net-worth individuals.
Six Degrees is a UK-based wealth manager targeting entrepreneurs, business leaders, and families. It prides itself on its purpose-driven approach and unique fee structure.
