Truist has signed a multi-year partnership with Hornets Sports & Entertainment, marking the bank’s first-ever collaboration with an NBA franchise.
As part of the partnership, Truist will become partner of the Charlotte Hornets and foundational partner of the new Novant Health Performance Centre.
The partnership highlights the shared commitment of these Charlotte-based organisations to purposeful initiatives, aiming to drive revitalization in Uptown Charlotte while promoting economic diversification, safety and inclusivity.
Sherry Graziano, head of digital, client experience and marketing at Truist, said: “This is an important investment in our brand, business and communities—an opportunity to amplify, accelerate and advance our purpose to inspire and build better lives and communities.”
A central feature of the collaboration is the launch of a Hornets Personalised Debit Card. Truist debit and credit cardholders will also receive exclusive perks at home games at the Spectrum Center this season, designed to deepen fan engagement and reward Hornets supporters.
The Novant Health Performance Center will include a dedicated space for Hornets basketball operations, enabling the team to strategise and plan for the future.
Truist will serve as the presenting partner for the Hornets’ Draft Central platform, Training Camp and a rookie-focused content series, offering fans behind-the-scenes access throughout the offseason.
