If you’re looking to take your next step in your PR career in an award-winning PR and digital agency, then look no further! We’re currently on the hunt for a highly creative and ambitious account manager or senior account manager to join our growing Third City team.
Thanks to a series of recent account wins, we are looking for someone who has either Personal Finance or B2B PR experience. The role will include managing consumer campaigns and running busy press offices for household financial services brands, as well as some B2B clients. Our ideal candidate will step into a central role on these accounts, delivering creative, award-winning work.
We have recently won awards for our financial services clients such as Drum’s Financial Services Campaign of the Year and PRCA’s Fintech Campaign of the Year. We would like the successful applicant to support us on our ambitions to create more industry-leading campaigns!
Responsibilities
Our fast-paced environment means no two days are the same and you’ll be motivated and positively challenged along the way. Don’t believe us, then check out our Instagram to see what we’ve been up to. Your work will be varied and rewarding, and your role will include:
• Day-to-day communication with clients to ensure smooth running of accounts
• Liaising on a daily basis with the media and having a number of your own media contacts
• Setting weekly actions and ensuring the team meets deadlines set by senior colleagues
• Managing junior colleagues such as Account Executives and graduates
• Working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement PR activity to meet KPIs
• Researching, writing and selling-in press releases / editorial packages and proposals
• Commissioning market research
• Ensuring that expenditure is tracked and budgets are monitored and managed
A Third City Account Manager will also have a hands-on role with new business including idea generation, research and presentations for new client pitches.
Qualifications and skills
We are looking for an Account Manager who:
• Has a flexible attitude and willingness to work across a number of different projects simultaneously
• Is organised and efficient – and the ability to think on your feet and use your initiative
• Has strong written and communication skills
• Is positive and self-motivated personality
• Is a creative and critical thinker
• Is interested in the news and the wider economic and political context in which our clients operate
• Has experience of online PR/social media marketing campaigns and an interest in networking
