Visa has deepened partnership with FIFA by launching a draw offering cardholders the chance to gain early access to purchase tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Between September 10 and 19, fans with an eligible Visa card can enter the first ever ‘Visa Presale Draw’ for a chance to purchase tickets ahead of the general public during the first phase of sales.
Visa cardholders can enter the Visa Presale Draw by logging into their FIFA tickets account with their FIFA ID and completing the application form anytime during the ten-day entry window for a chance to purchase tickets.
Frank Cooper, CMO at Visa, said the draw reinforces the partnership’s commitment to making football games more accessible to fans.
He said: “This isn’t just about early access to tickets – it’s about unlocking opportunities across North America, fuelling the passion of the global football community and ensuring the economic impact of the tournament reaches far beyond the final whistle.”
The draw builds on Visa’s long-standing partnership with FIFA, which started in 2007. In January 2024, Visa renewed its role as the official payment technology partner for FIFA, extending the collaboration through until 2026.
Since its launch, the partnership has aimed to give Visa the ability to unlock meaningful experiences, offering football fans worldwide exclusive opportunities to engage with the sport, which is exactly what the presale draw seeks to achieve.
