Marsh McLennan is set to rebrand to Marsh from January 2026 with its four businesses set to adopt the new identity from 2027 following a transition period.
With Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer and Oliver Wyman operating under a unified brand, the move aims to showcase the firm’s breadth of expertise across risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting.
It also aims to reflect the company’s ongoing evolution to deliver greater impact for clients.
John Jones, chief marketing and communications officer at Marsh McLennan, said: “Unifying under one brand will accelerate the impact we deliver to the marketplace and give clients even greater confidence to thrive through the power of perspective.”
He added that the new brand will also include a new logo with a bolder design, which aims to symbolise the company’s strengthened focus and the unique perspectives it offers.
Under the new structure, Marsh and Mercer will operate under the Marsh name, Guy Carpenter will become Marsh Re, and Oliver Wyman will go to market as Oliver Wyman, a Marsh business, with its operating unit renamed Marsh Management Consulting.
The company’s stock ticker symbol will also change from ‘MMC’ to ‘MRSH’ in January 2026.
Chris Lay, CEO, UK, MMC, added: “Bringing together our businesses under the Marsh brand will help us be the most impactful professional services firm for our clients and enhance our market presence. We’ve already seen the impact we can deliver as one company—from our ongoing work in Ukraine to support recovery and economic growth to our enterprise-wide global cyber data, analytics, and modelling centre of excellence.”
