American Express has rolled out a redesigned app for Platinum Card holders as part of a wider refresh of its flagship product that also includes new benefits and a card design update.
The revamp is aimed at deepening engagement with premium customers by making it easier to see, track and use the card’s perks.
The new interface includes a premium theme with light and dark modes, and a consolidated dashboard where members can monitor progress towards their welcome bonus, complete setup tasks and access benefits in one place.
Cardholders can now more clearly see the annual value on offer – estimated at over $3,500 – with tools to track usage of hotel and dining credits and view travel reservations booked through Amex Travel. Premium features such as ‘Fine Hotels + Resorts’ and ‘The Hotel Collection’ will also appear directly within the app.
The updates are intended to help members get more out of their Platinum membership by simplifying how benefits are enrolled, managed and tracked.
