Henley Royal Regatta has signed its first-ever Official Wealth Management Partner, securing a three‑year deal with Brooks Macdonald in a move that marks a major shift in the event’s commercial strategy.
The partnership also signals the Regatta’s push to modernise, broaden its reach and deepen engagement with members, athletes and spectators, while aligning itself with brands that share its long‑term values.
Andrea Montague, CEO of Brooks Macdonald, said: “It’s a natural fit – we both believe in excellence, determination, and outstanding performance.”
Brooks Macdonald will offer financial planning support to members and athletes, with a focus on long‑term advice and access to specialist expertise.
The firm will also work with the Regatta to raise awareness of careers in investment and wealth management, particularly among emerging talent.
Henley Royal Regatta said the collaboration reflects shared values of excellence, integrity and trust, aligning the firm’s focus on securing financial futures with the Regatta’s commitment to maintaining world‑class standards.
Richard Phelps, Chair of the Committee of Management, said the partnership represents an important step in the evolution of the Regatta’s commercial programme and will help deliver long‑term value to its community.
Founded in 1839, Henley Royal Regatta remains one of the world’s most prestigious rowing events, staging more than 400 races each year and attracting elite athletes and spectators from around the globe.
