Investment platform eToro today announced its landmark sponsorship of Premiership Women’s Rugby, making it the first-ever brand to back both the men’s and women’s leagues.
The move builds on its existing Premiership Men’s Rugby partnership, which began in 2023, and forms part of its wider “Loud Investing” campaign aimed at closing the gender investment gap.
“As part of our Loud Investing campaign, we’re working to challenge long-standing myths, build financial confidence, and shine a light on the role of representation – both in sport and in finance,” said Stephanie Wilks-Wiffen, director of marketing at eToro. “Sport brings people together and can change the conversation.”
Genevieve Shore, executive chair of Premiership Women’s Rugby, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with eToro. Like us, eToro is committed to challenging the status quo and working towards a more equitable future for women and girls.”
As part of its growing focus on sport, eToro also renewed multi-season sponsorships across both men’s and women’s football teams, including Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham United (2025/26 & 2026/27). These partnerships will include brand activations designed to promote financial inclusion through workshops and educational efforts aimed at fans and players.
A recent investing basics session with the West Ham United Women’s Team offered practical insights tailored to athletes. Defender Verena Henshaw shared: “It was great to be involved in the workshop with eToro… The session had a great impact in making us all feel much more confident in our knowledge of the subject area.”
Club executives praised the renewed collaboration. Nathan Thompson, Executive Director of West Ham United, said: “The renewal of our successful partnership with eToro reaffirms our shared commitment to Women’s sport… something that aligns perfectly with our Club’s values.”
Mark Rollings, Chief Partnerships Officer at Everton, said the deal “is a clear signal of our shared ambition and commitment to community, education and inclusion.” Barry Webber, Chief Commercial Officer at Crystal Palace FC, noted: “Their commitment to innovation, fan engagement and supporting both sides of the club has made them an ideal partner.”
From rugby pitches to stadiums across the UK, eToro continues to position itself as a catalyst for change — advancing equality in both sport and personal finance.
