Eurobank has joined forces with the Cyprus Olympic Committee in a new partnership aimed at supporting the country’s emerging athletic talent.
Under the agreement, Eurobank will serve as platinum sponsor from 2025 to 2028, backing Cypriot athletes as they compete on the world stage.
The sponsorship will cover a wide range of major international events, including the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, the Small States of Europe Games in Monaco, the 2027 Pan-European Games in Istanbul, the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Senegal and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Michalis Louis, CEO of Eurobank, said the collaboration highlights how the business community and the sporting world can work together to promote Cyprus and its people.
He added: “We are happy to be on the side of the Cyprus Olympic Committee and our athletes. This cooperation is an investment in the new generations who are inspired by the example of those who honour our country with effort, perseverance and soul.”
The bank said the partnership reflects its belief in sport as a unifying and inspiring force, as well as the shared values of determination, teamwork and excellence that connect Eurobank with the athletes it is supporting.
