Klarna has revealed details of its largest on-site festival activation to date at Latitude Festival, which marks its debut as headline sponsor of the event.
Camp Klarna is a pastel-themed summer camp located at the heart of the festival, which is designed to become a central hub for visitors seeking relaxation and creativity.
The camp will offer a range of activities including arts and crafts, games and dedicated chill-out zones to provide attendees with a space to recharge and engage in immersive workshops.
It will also function as a practical stop for festival essentials, featuring phone charging stations and providing attendees with ‘DIY festival survival kits’ to support them throughout the weekend.
The camp also seeks to bring an element of fun with the Klarna Catwalk. Each day concludes with a runway event where festival-goers showcase their creative outfits for a chance to win prizes.
Raji Behal, head of western and southern Europe at Klarna, said: “Camp Klarna is where creativity meets utility, it’s playful, practical, and packed with perks to elevate the festival experience. From festival survival kits to places to recharge, it’s all about making your festival weekend that little bit smarter, and even more fun.”
With up to 40,000 attendees expected daily, Latitude presents Klarna with a significant opportunity to engage a large and enthusiastic audience.
The curated mini-event marks the launch of Klarna’s multi-year partnership with Latitude Festival, a four-day event held near Southwold in Suffolk from July 24 to 27, which was announced in June.
According to Klarna, the partnership aligns with its ambition to showcase its growing presence in the experience economy.
