Nuveen has signed a multi-year partnership with Atlassian Williams Racing, becoming the Formula One team’s official asset management partner as both organisations look to combine deep heritage with a renewed focus on future performance.
The partnership brings together two brands with long histories in highly competitive arenas. Nuveen marks more than 125 years in the asset management industry, while Williams stands as one of Formula One’s most successful teams, with almost five decades in the sport.
For Williams, the deal comes at a pivotal moment. The team is in the midst of a long-term rebuild, with a clear mission to return to the front of the grid and compete for world championships once again as the sport heads into a new regulatory era in 2026.
Meanwhile, Nuveen, has been focused on adapting a century-old business for the demands of modern global markets, balancing long-term thinking with innovation and performance.
That shared challenge of respecting legacy while evolving for the future sits at the heart of the partnership.
Bill Huffman, CEO of Nuveen, said: “The parallels between Nuveen and Williams are striking. Each of our organisations is performance-oriented with global heritage, yet our focus remains firmly on the future,
“As we each expand our presence in new markets and geographies, success in our respective fields demands unwavering dedication to innovation and precision of process – whether that’s perfecting pit stops measured in seconds or executing investment strategies across global markets.”
Heading into the 2026 season, Nuveen and Williams will work together to pursue excellence through innovative thinking and seamless collaboration, whether that is on the pit wall or across financial markets around the world.
As official asset management partner, Nuveen’s branding will feature prominently on the FW48, Williams’ challenger for the all-new Formula One regulations in 2026. The Nuveen logo will appear above the steering wheel and on the inner rear wing of the car driven by Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon.
