RBC has partnered with Live Nation Canada to transform Toronto’s waterfront amphitheatre, enhancing the experience for both music fans and RBC clients.
As part of the multi-year partnership, the venue will immediately be renamed RBC Amphitheatre and is set to evolve into a larger, year-round destination by 2030.
The redesigned venue incorporates fan feedback and aims to improve the live music experience while maintaining its well-known features.
A new pedestrian bridge will enhance access and crowd flow, and upgrades will include additional food and beverage outlets, improved hospitality areas and a lookout deck with elevator access to the lawn.
Meanwhile, “fan favourite” features, such as open-lawn seating and city skyline views, will remain central to the venue’s character.
The venue’s expanded indoor and outdoor facilities will enable it to host more shows, welcoming over 1.5 million fans each year. As a year-round destination, the renovated RBC Amphitheatre will offer increased summer capacity with both seated areas and an open-air lawn from May to October, alongside around 9,000 seats during the winter months.

The partnership will offer benefits for both attendees and RBC clients. Concertgoers will have access to RBC fan activation areas, featuring ticket upgrades, giveaways, and other experiences, while RBC clients will enjoy a dedicated entry.
Additionally, RBC and Live Nation announced that starting in 2026, Avion Rewards members will be able to use their points to purchase tickets to any Live Nation Canada show.
The partnership continues RBC’s long-standing support for arts and music, including its ongoing collaboration with Live Nation Canada, which began in 2017.
RBC has also supported emerging Canadian artists for more than 20 years, contributing $2.2 million to help over 300 artists through RBCxMusic First Up, and $2 million to support more than 60 artists via the RBC Emerging Musician’s Program with Canada’s Walk of Fame.
