Standard Chartered has partnered with Formula 1 as the sport’s official wealth management partner and official corporate and investment banking partner from 2026.
The multi-year collaboration links two globally recognised brands driven by performance and international reach. For Standard Chartered, Formula 1 offers access to a younger, more diverse audience as nearly half (43%) of fans are under 35, and 42% are women. This aligns with the bank’s strategy to connect with dynamic markets worldwide.
Formula 1’s global footprint also ties in with Standard Chartered’s cross-border network as the group operates in 19 out of the 21 Formula 1 race markets.
Standard Chartered’s branding will appear trackside at races, while clients can enjoy exclusive Formula 1 experiences, combining high-octane action with relationship-building opportunities.
Judy Hsu, CEO of wealth and retail banking at Standard Chartered, said: “As a leading international wealth manager, we will draw on our international network and expertise to bring clients closer to the excitement of F1,
“Our clients value premium service, innovation and seamless global connectivity, and this partnership will unlock exclusive experiences for them. Our support for F1 Academy reinforces our commitment to championing female talent and developing the next generation of motorsport talent across our unique footprint.”
The deal also emphasises shared values as Standard Chartered will work with Formula 1 to promote inclusion and support initiatives like the F1 Academy, which develops female talent in motorsport.
The partnership underscores Formula 1’s appeal as a global platform for brands seeking both commercial impact and engagement with emerging audiences, while giving Standard Chartered a high-profile stage to showcase its wealth and corporate banking services.
