Rightmove has released a tactical out-of-home (OOH) execution to celebrate the finale of BBC reality series The Traitors.
The third series of the BBC’s hit show The Traitors has been extremely popular across the UK.
Keen to tap into this popularity, Rightmove worked alongside Neverland Creative to create an OOH campaign with a ‘traitor-esque’ twist.
The campaign employed multiple large-format digital screens across London and was revealed to the public at midnight on Friday – the day of The Traitors finale.
Inpired by the show, Rightmove has also published related articles including a list of castles inspired by the set of the show.
In addition, Rightmove spoke to over 1000 members of a research panel, to see whether they’d ever ‘bent the truth’ when moving, implementing a strategy befitting of the Traitors to try and secure the home they want.
Almost one in four (24%) of respondents admitted to pretending they weren’t interested in a home to try and negotiate on price.
Meanwhile, 16% have previously lied about their reasons for moving.
Steve Pimblett, chief data officer at Rightmove, said: “The latest insights from our research panel shows that many home-movers are trying to keep their cards close to their chest when it comes to property roundtable discussions,
“Some try to keep a poker face about how much they truly like a property, while others might be trying to avoid unwanted questions about their reasons for moving.”
