State Street’s asset management arm has rebranded from State Street Global Advisors to State Street Investment Management.
The firm’s first rebrand in 30 years aims to highlight its focus on growth and engagement with clients and partners. It also underscores its commitment to product innovation, which aims to deliver better outcomes for investors and the communities they serve.
In addition, the update emphasises the firm’s “One State Street” approach, which is designed to improve collaboration across State Street Corporation and broaden offerings to benefit investors worldwide.
Prior to developing the new brand identity, State Street gathered research and feedback from clients, investors and employees worldwide.
John Brockelman, CMO of State Street Investment Management, said: “State Street Investment Management is an essential partner to investors, offering them unparalleled expertise, unique insights, and both innovative and cost-effective solutions,
“We’re excited to unveil a new brand that communicates that promise. These changes to our brand strengthen our value proposition, simplify the way we go to market, and improve our clients’ experience across State Street.”
The rebrand builds on the recently launched investor campaign, “Getting There Starts Here,” which highlights State Street Investment Management’s dedication to helping investors reach their financial goals.
It also follows on from State Street Corporation’s relaunch of its corporate brand and identity in 2023, which was designed to reflect the company’s innovation and history of firsts.
The firm’s CMO, Brenda Tsai, said the brand refresh needed to reflect today’s digital world while also drawing on its heritage as the second oldest continuously operating bank in the US as it was founded in 1792.
