TD Bank has announced the extension of its partnership with US basketball team, the Boston Celtics, through the 2044-2045 season.
The partnership solidifies the bank’s role as the exclusive retail and online banking provider for both the Boston Celtics and the Maine Celtics.

“Since 2004, we’ve proudly stood alongside Celtics fans, whether it’s celebrating unforgettable moments at TD Garden, bringing unique perks to our customers, or supporting programs that uplift the communities we serve.
“As the official bank of the Boston Celtics for the next 20 years, we’re excited to keep growing this relationship and creating even more ways to support the team engagement, the fans, and the community we all love,” said TD Bank’s CEO.
As part of the sponsorship’s extension plans, TD Bank will enhance fan engagement through in-arena events such as opening night, kids’ day and fan appreciation night.
Moreover, the bank will invest in the Greater Boston community through the TD Bank CommUNITY Crew program, empowering youth, and families in need.
Nonprofit initiatives such as the TD Bank Community Clubhouse and Courtside Kids will also remain supported through complimentary tickets and immersive game experiences.
To kick off the extension, the Boston Celtics and TD Bank CommUNITY Crew members hosted 60 girls associated with You Got It Girl, Boston Centers for Youth & Families Curtis Halland the Massachusetts Department of Children & Families in Jamaica Plain.
In honour of Women’s History Month, the community hosted a panel with Celtics team members to discuss the power of women’s sports.
