Investment platform Stratiphy has partnered with personal finance news and information platform Mouthy Money to launch a podcast series aimed at lifting the lid on how investing really works.
The monthly podcast, titled ‘Investing Stakes’, will follow real money being invested on the Stratiphy platform, allowing listeners to track live portfolios and hear candid discussions about what goes right – and what goes wrong – along the way.
The series is designed to demystify investing by focusing on real-world decisions rather than abstract theory.
Hosted by Edmund Greaves, editor of Mouthy Money, alongside co-host Chris Tuite, the podcast will see both presenters commit their own money to portfolios built on Stratiphy.
Listeners will be able to follow investment choices, performance and outcomes over time, with the hosts openly discussing their thinking as markets move.
Stratiphy’s chief investment officer, Chris Ling, will feature regularly on the podcast, providing market insight and context around portfolio construction and decision-making. His contributions will aim to bridge the gap between professional investment expertise and the practical realities faced by everyday investors.
Rather than positioning investing as a smooth or predictable journey, ‘Investing Stakes’ will lean into the emotional and behavioural side of money management. Episodes will explore risk, uncertainty, mistakes and learning points, alongside successes, as portfolios evolve.
Daniel Gold, founder of Stratiphy, said: “Most people only ever hear about investing when things go well. This exciting new initiative does something very different by opening up the reality of managing money over time,
“By allowing the Mouthy Money community to follow real portfolios – including the mistakes – Ed and Chris will be helping take some of the mystery out of investing and encouraging more informed, confident decision-making. It is great to be involved.”
