CMC Markets has signed a multi-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Everton.
It comes as Premier League clubs seek new commercial partners following restrictions on gambling shirt sponsors.
Lord Peter Cruddas said the partnership reflected shared values of loyalty, patience and long-term ambition between football supporters and investors. “We are proud to partner with a club that shares our core values, identity and passion. Wishing Everton every success for the coming seasons,” he said.
The FTSE 250 financial services company will become Everton’s Main Club Partner, with its branding appearing on the men’s, women’s and under-21 teams’ home, away and third kits from the 2026/27 season.
CMC branding will also feature at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Goodison Park and Finch Farm, alongside matchday, digital and supporter-facing activations throughout the agreement.
The companies will also work together on financial literacy initiatives through Everton in the Community and The People’s Learning Trust, delivering education and practical learning opportunities across the Liverpool City Region.
Andrew Middleton, Everton’s president of business operations, said the agreement would support the club’s commercial growth and help strengthen revenues as Everton enters a new era centred on Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The partnership will be promoted through CMC’s “For the Passion” platform, which links the commitment of football supporters with long-term investing and trading.
Industry reports suggest the deal could be worth about £50m over three years, although neither party has disclosed financial terms.
The agreement also reflects CMC’s strategy of broadening awareness of its investing, trading and wealth-management services beyond its traditional trading business. The London-based firm recently reported record annual net operating income of £392.6m and raised its guidance for the current financial year, highlighting growth in its business-to-business operations.
