Equals, the global money movement platform, has partnered with CNN International on a long-term content partnership.
The partnership, which launched at Money 20/20, the global payments and fintech conference, marks Equals’ first brand activation at this scale and comes weeks after the company unveiled a new brand identity.
Content produced by CNN’s brand studio Create features executive interviews, industry insights and Equals’ Money 20/20 stage appearance, running across CNN’s television, digital and social platforms to reach global business and technology decision makers.
The content also draws on Equals’ research with Visa Consulting & Analytics into embedded finance and payments trends, giving CNN access to proprietary industry insights to inform its coverage, adding a data layer to what might otherwise be a straightforward brand sponsorship.
Justin Hannemann, SVP Marketing at Equals, said: “Money movement is critical in today’s interconnected world, and we wanted a strategic partnership that could bring our story to business leaders shaping the future of finance.”
Equals processed more than £58 billion in transaction volume in 2025/26 and operates across more than 140 currencies.
The partnership reflects a broader trend of fintech firms turning to premium media brands to build credibility with enterprise decision makers, particularly following rebrands where establishing a new identity at scale becomes a commercial priority.
