IG has announced a landmark three-season partnership with Sky Media, becoming an Official Co-Sponsor of Sky Sports Premier League coverage from the start of the 2026/27 season.
The partnership represents IG’s biggest sports sponsorship investment to date and will see the brand featured across live Sky Sports Premier League broadcasts, streaming, digital, social and out-of-home coverage in pubs and venues across the UK and Ireland.
IG will be the only investing and trading platform within Sky Sports’ Premier League sponsorship portfolio, joining brands including Guinness, Coca-Cola, Uber Eats, bet365 and EA Sports.
The deal builds on IG’s growing sports marketing strategy, following partnerships with England Cricket and the Transfer Window. Sky Sports will broadcast more than 80% of live Premier League matches, with at least 215 games each season.
The partnership comes after a record-breaking 2025/26 season for Sky Sports, which saw Premier League viewing increase by 25% year on year.
Independent TGI research also found that Sky Sports Premier League viewers over-index for investing, savings and financial products, creating a strong audience fit for IG.
Elise Ash, Marketing and Growth Director at IG, said the partnership would put the brand in front of millions of football fans while helping to demonstrate the role investing can play in building financial resilience and long-term wealth.
