Deutsche Bank has been announced as the new title partner of the Singapore Open under a multi-year agreement running until 2029.
The partnership will see the tournament return to the DP World Tour schedule in 2027, where it will be jointly sanctioned with the Asian Tour.
The inaugural Deutsche Bank Singapore Open will take place from 15-18 April 2027 at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong Course, one of Asia’s most renowned golf venues.
The event will form part of the DP World Tour’s Asian Swing and marks the return of one of the region’s most prestigious national Opens to the international golfing calendar.
Claudio de Sanctis, Deutsche Bank Management Board Member and Head of Private Bank, said the partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to Singapore and the wider Asian market.
“Partnering for this sporting event aligns strategically with Deutsche Bank’s commitment to fostering global talent, competitive skill and leadership,” he said.
The Singapore Open was first played in 1961 and has previously featured a number of major champions among its winners. The tournament was previously co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour between 2009 and 2012 before returning to the Asian Tour schedule in recent years.
Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, said the agreement demonstrates the commercial appeal of the Tour while helping to strengthen its presence across Asia.
