Adclear has partnered with Allica Bank to streamline marketing compliance using AI.
It comes as financial firms increasingly adopt AI to improve efficiency while maintaining regulatory oversight.
In a media statement, Adclear co-founder and COO Joe Jordan said the partnership reflected a wider shift towards embedding compliance into technology-driven workflows.
“This model turns compliance into a growth engine,” he said.
The agreement saw Adclear consolidate Allica Bank’s financial promotions rules, product disclaimers and approval policies into a single centrally governed platform. The system now powers an AI-assisted approvals process designed to reduce review times and provide a consistent audit trail for marketing content.
Adclear has delivered bespoke compliance training to Allica’s marketing team, using the bank’s own products, claims and historical approval decisions to help staff identify which content can be cleared independently and which requires further review.
Before the project, Allica’s compliance documentation was designed for a smaller marketing operation and knowledge was spread across multiple documents, spreadsheets and internal processes.
Georgie Burks, head of marketing at Allica Bank, said the work created a stronger compliance foundation as the lender continued to grow.
“We are already seeing Adclear’s AI layer transforming how quickly and confidently we can move on marketing approvals and compliance,” she said.
The partnership comes as Allica continues to invest heavily in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure. The SME-focused bank recently reported strong growth in profitability, customer numbers, lending and deposits as it expanded its position in the UK business banking market.
AI adoption is accelerating across financial services, with regulators encouraging firms to embrace innovation while maintaining robust governance, accountability and consumer protection standards.
Adclear’s compliance platform is also used by firms including Monzo, Lloyds Banking Group, PensionBee and IG Group.
