Aegon’s workplace pension app Mylo has launched an immersive campaign designed to make retirement planning feel more tangible and engaging for savers.
The campaign, titled ‘Postcards from tomorrow’, invites users to picture the life they want in retirement and how their pension could help make it a reality.
Developed in partnership with technology company Waracle, the interactive experience allows users to create a personalised digital postcard showing where their future retirement could take them, from the Highlands of Scotland to the cultural sights of Japan.
Each postcard links back to Mylo’s in-app tools, guidance and behavioural nudges, encouraging users to take practical steps such as reviewing contributions, setting goals or exploring their wider retirement options.
The aim is to move pension planning away from abstract numbers and towards something more emotionally resonant.
The campaign builds on the launch of Mylo in September, when Aegon introduced the platform as a new digital experience for workplace pension members.
The app was designed to help users engage more confidently with their money and navigate key financial moments throughout their working lives.
Beyond the app itself, Mylo delivers personalised support through a combination of email, SMS and app-based nudges. These prompts reach members even if they have not downloaded the app, with reminders focused on actions such as increasing contributions, consolidating pension pots and keeping retirement goals on track.
