Allianz Ireland has launched an interactive billboard campaign for its home insurance division, as the latest element in its sustainability-focussed “Rebuild Better” campaign.
The outdoor billboards invite passersby to select either a “fire” or “water” button – two of the most significant causes of property damage. The interactive fire and water buttons trigger two different projections – either soaking the billboard or setting it alight – revealing key product messaging.
As part of the “Rebuild Better” campaign, the insurer is offering customers claiming more than €50,000 an additional €5,000 to be put towards sustainable, energy-efficient improvements to their home.
Mark Brennan, head of marketing at Allianz Ireland, said the interactive campaign reflects the company’s commitment to changing how people experience insurance.
“To mark the launch, we wanted to create a campaign that would literally stop people in their tracks. We look forward to continuing to innovate how we provide our customers with protection that gives them confidence in tomorrow.”
The extra capital given to customers will help customers to make sustainable choices, the marketing lead said, such as energy upgrades including heat pump installation, PV solar panels, and attic and wall insulation.
The billboard campaign will be supported by radio and digital broadcasting. The company is also running a series of written content pieces, such as blogs which relate back to the insurer’s broader sustainability agenda.
