Allianz has announced plans to build its presence in the UK personal lines motor and home market.
LV= Broker – currently part of one of the UK’s largest insurance companies – will rebrand to Allianz, and Allianz’s existing digital motor insurance product will rebrand from Flow in the coming months.
Serge Raffard, managing director at Allianz Personal, said the rebrands will help the organisation deliver on its purpose: securing its customers’ future by offering high-quality customer experience, digital capabilities, and people.
“Our people and culture are what makes us special, and it’ll be the same fantastic teams delivering to our brokers and customers through the Allianz brand.
“Customers will always remain at the heart of everything we do, because we care for our customers and deliver quality products and services in a fair and simple way,” said Raffard.
The LV= Broker team will remain unchanged, though the Allianz brand will appear on customer-facing documents and external systems.
“The LV= brand that our customers know and love, and has a strong presence in the UK, will continue as part of the wider Allianz family,” Raffard added.
LV= Broker recently won Broker Partner of the Year at The British Insurance Awards, with products and services ranging from SME to specialty.
Flow, which won best motor insurance provider at the 2023 Insurance Choice awards, will remain available to customers.
