Allianz Australia has deepened its support for community initiatives through a new partnership with the West Coast Eagles, the Perth-based AFL club.
Under the four-year agreement, Allianz will become a platinum partner across the West Coast Eagles’ AFL, AFLW and Wheelchair football teams.
Its branding will appear on the neckline of the AFL side’s match guernseys, on training gear, media backdrops, and in gameday signage at Optus Stadium and interstate venues.
The insurer will also serve as the official shorts partner for the AFLW team in 2026 and a major partner of the Eagles’ Wheelchair team.
Community impact sits at the heart of the partnership. As an initial step, Allianz and the Eagles will support Foodbank WA’s Give a Feed appeal, which provides Christmas hampers to Western Australian families in need.
The club has long supported Foodbank through initiatives such as the Million Meal Challenge and Metres for Meals Challenge. This year, Allianz will fund 1,000 hampers, which represents one-third of the appeal’s 3,000-hamper target. Each hamper will contain enough ingredients to provide a festive meal for a family of four.
Richard Feledy, managing director of Allianz Australia said: “Allianz has a long history of supporting sport and promoting the power of sport in uniting communities, so this partnership is a natural fit for us. Our shared commitment to caring for the communities we operate in is also central to our partnership,
“We have big plans to work together to create community programs that are accessible and supportive of the Western Australian community starting with Foodbank’s Christmas Give A Feed appeal.”
