Alpha Bank London sponsored a sold-out concert for Greek pop and laïko singer Konstantinos Argiros at the UK’s Royal Albert Hall.
It comes as Alpha Bank expands its support for Hellenic cultural initiatives in London as part of a broader community engagement strategy.
Alpha Bank London said the event helped bring together music, culture and community. “We are delighted to have been part of the experience and to support moments that create meaningful connections across the Hellenic community,” the bank said in a LinkedIn announcement.
The concert by Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros formed part of a month of cultural activity supported by the bank and was held at one of London’s most recognised venues.
In the post, the bank described the evening as a memorable occasion that united members of the Hellenic community through music and shared cultural experiences. The post also acknowledged several colleagues and guests who attended the event.
The sponsorship reflects Alpha Bank London’s broader focus on supporting cultural initiatives linked to Greek and Cypriot communities in the UK. Earlier this year, the bank announced its support for exhibitions and events at The Hellenic Centre in London, highlighting its commitment to celebrating Hellenic culture and strengthening links between the UK, Greece and Cyprus.
Alpha Bank London, which was established in 1922, provides private banking, investment and property finance services in the UK and operates as part of the wider Alpha Bank Group.
The move also comes amid continued efforts by banks and financial firms to engage niche communities through sponsorship, networking and cultural events, particularly within London’s international financial sector.
The concert sponsorship marked Alpha Bank London’s latest public investment in initiatives designed to celebrate and support Hellenic culture in the UK.
