Ashman, a newcomer to the UK banking scene, has put optimism and sustainability at the forefront of its new brand identity.
The bank’s new advertising slogan “the bank making better happen” reflects its ambition to simplify the banking process for SMEs wanting to build their brands and those looking to invest.
Ashman was founded by ex-property developers in an effort overcome the obstacles usually faced by property entrepreneurs.
“Ashman’s proposition is grounded in making better happen for property entrepreneurs and conscientious savers, revealing ways to do banking, better,” said Simon Healey, chief operating officer at Ashman.
“We needed a brand identity that embodied this and spoke to customers, investors and talent alike about what we stand for.”
Healey went on to note that their logo was designed to reflect the “revelation” that Ashman brings to the banking market.
Ashman’s commitment to sustainability – making “better happen” for the planet – was also at the forefront of the bank’s new brand identity.
Earlier this year, Ashman were awarded a grant of £200,000 by The Green Home Finance Accelerator to support the UK Government’s Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP).
Ashman was the first bank to receive its banking license in 2022 (with restrictions) and is in the process of becoming a fully authorised bank.
