CFD and Forex broker Axi has confirmed another major football sponsorship supporting its existing partnership with Manchester City Football Club.
The platform has announced a deal for the next two seasons with Girona Football Club who compete in the Spanish top tier and qualified for the UEFA Champions League in the 2023/24 season.
The company’s head of brand and sponsorship, Hannah Hill, said the business launched its first player activation with the club earlier in 2024, aimed at the Latin American audience.
“We are very excited to announce our partnership renewal with La Liga club, Girona FC,” she said. “At Axi, we are driven by ambition, and we always strive for innovation.”
Hill said that the previous season had reinforced how Axi and Girona share the same aspirations and the same dedication to success.
“The club demonstrated their ‘edge’ on the field, and as the new football season kicks off soon, our unwavering commitment to bridging the worlds of trading and football closer together remains unchanged,” she added.
The platform already boasts England International John Stones as one of its brand ambassadors and has partnerships in place with Manchester City’s male and female teams.
Its relationship with Manchester City as the “official online trading partner” has been in place since 2020.
