Barclays has joined forces with two of the UK’s largest venues, becoming the founding partner of Co-Op Live and principal partner of The O2.
As part of the partnership, Barclays will provide customers with unique experiences and prime views at both venues by offering them access to specially reserved tickets, premium lounges and hospitality suites.
Barclays will also support community projects as part of both partnerships, which will be announced with details soon, to champion the bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting communities across its entire sponsorship portfolio.
The partnerships build on Barclays’ 25-year legacy of bringing people closer to major moments in music, sport, and the arts through sponsorships like Capital’s Summertime Ball, Wimbledon and Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
The partnership has been strategically announced ahead of a packed summer events calendar, featuring UK arena exclusives at Manchester’s Co-op Live with artists like Robbie Williams, Morrissey, and Olivia Rodrigo, and Lady Gaga launching her European tour at London’s The O2.
Tom Corbett, managing director of sponsorship and client experience at Barclays, said: “These world-class venues join our growing entertainment portfolio, reinforcing Barclays as a leading brand in entertainment, across music, sports and the arts. These partnerships also mean even more exclusive perks and unforgettable experiences for our customers.”
