Barclays will feature prominently on the front of London Spirit shirts for the first time after the franchise unveiled its new playing kit ahead of the 2026 season.
The new design, created by Nike and delivered by KitKing, marks the latest chapter in Barclays’ growing investment in cricket and further strengthens the bank’s presence at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The launch follows Barclays‘ expansion of its relationship with Lord’s, building on its partnership with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and reinforcing its commitment to supporting cricket from grassroots participation through to the professional game.
Featuring London Spirit’s signature dark blue alongside subtle references to MCC’s historic red-and-yellow colours, the kit places Barclays at the heart of one of English cricket’s most recognisable modern brands.
The bank’s logo appears across the chest of both the men’s and women’s shirts, highlighting its support for equal opportunities and visibility across the sport.
For Barclays, the partnership aligns with a wider sports sponsorship portfolio that already includes football and tennis.
Through its involvement with Lord’s, London Spirit and initiatives such as the Barclays Community Sport Fund and the Barclays Knight-Stokes Cup, the bank has positioned itself as a major supporter of efforts to make cricket more accessible to young people and underrepresented communities.
The unveiling of the new kit therefore serves not only as a fresh look for London Spirit but also as a visible symbol of Barclays’ long-term commitment to the game.
In a post accompanying the launch, Barclays described the shirt as “the next step in our commitment to making cricket more accessible, more exciting, and more inclusive for players and fans of every background”, adding that it was proud to see its branding on the front of the new London Spirit kit.
With The Hundred continuing to attract new audiences to cricket, Barclays will now have one of the competition’s most prominent commercial presences as London Spirit prepares for the 2026 campaign.
