Blockchain platform Doric Network showcased its strong partnerships and place in the market at last week’s Paris Blockchain Week.
Dedicated to revolutionising asset tokenisation, the platform brought its mascot “Dorhino the rhino” to life to encourage delegates to take part in a game of axe throwing.
Theodore Essery, head of globalisation at Doric Network, said the game succeeded in drawing existing potential and partners to its exhibition space.
“If you want to get someone’s information and have them fill out a form, it’s important to have a call to action.
“Delegates are walking around all day and get tired, and axe throwing will add a bit of spice to their day,” said Essery.
Expanding on its mascot, Essery added that Dorhino the rhino reflects the network’s ambitions to be a strong player in the crowded marketplace.
“We’re in a bull run right now and we want to be part of that,” he said.
Unlike other players at the event with clear audience targeting, the token marketplace aims to attract all “crypto aficionados” regardless of age.
“Crypto people are the same – the industry attracts a certain type of person that doesn’t necessarily mature out of what they like,” Essery said.
Doric Network also used the event to expand its partnership with new and central exchanges, on-ramp and off-ramps, and VC funds.
Paris Blockchain Week was held between 9–11 April at Le Carrousel de Louvre.
