Chase is expanding its sponsorship of ITV’s football coverage to include England Women’s senior matches until 2028, alongside its existing partnership with the England Men’s team.
The expanded agreement makes Chase the sole sponsor of ITV’s coverage of both senior England teams, with the women’s sponsorship beginning on 9 October as England face Greece.
Matches will be broadcast free-to-air across ITV1, ITV4, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
The move comes as interest in women’s football continues to grow. YouGov research commissioned by Chase found that 31% of English adults reported increased interest in the women’s game following the Lionesses’ victory at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, an increase of 17%. The tournament final attracted a peak combined audience of 16.2 million viewers across ITV and the BBC.
The sponsorship will span television, digital and social media, featuring branded idents around broadcast coverage and advertising bumpers across streaming platforms.
WPP Media was responsible for creative strategy and execution, sponsorship management, media planning and buying.
The campaign will recreate iconic moments from England football history, including Geoff Hurst’s goal against West Germany in the 1966 World Cup final and Beth Mead’s goal against Norway during England’s 8-0 victory at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022.
Anna Bentham, Marketing Director at Chase, said the expansion would help the bank connect with millions of fans across the men’s and women’s games while building on its wider support for football.
The partnership builds on Chase’s position as the Official Banking Partner of the Home Nations Football Associations.
Its wider commitment includes a coaching bursary programme that supports individuals facing financial barriers to gaining qualifications across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Since its launch, the programme has funded 7,000 qualifications, with 5,000 coaching qualifications completed.
