Token 2049 kicks off on September 18, 2024 at the world-renowned Marina Bay Sands resort for a two-day conference with 20,000 global attendees.
Billed as the world’s largest crypto event, the conference features a host of high-profile speakers, including former White House comms director Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, Shaun Maguire, partner at Sequoia Capital, and Giovanni Vicioso of CME Group.
This year’s events includes major global sponsors and a sell-out exhibition floor featuring well-known names such as Amina Bank, BCB Group, BingX, Coinbase and Velvet Capital.
“With 20,000 attendees and more than 500 side events throughout the week, we are confident that Token 2049 Singapore will surpass all expectations of what one would expect of an event,” said Alex Fiskum, the event’s co-founder.
“Ticketing and exhibition demand has already surpassed all previous records, we are only at the beginning of what promises to be the most consequential Web3 event in the world. We look forward to sharing more exciting updates as we get closer to the event.”
Fiskum said the event had always been a global platform that brings together ideas, technology and culture to inspire and to entertain.
“This year we are reimagining the conference experience from the ground up, creating a spectacle unlike any other,” he added.
The conference will culminate in an official closing event called After 2049, which will be held on Friday September 20 at Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck. It will extend to CÉ LA VI restaurant and Club Lounge, offering exhilarating views of the Formula 1 evening session from the 57th floor.
The event is a collaboration with spatial sound pioneers Polygon Productions and promises to immerse guests in a multisensory audio-visual experience. Award-winning trio WhoMadeWho will be headlining the event with their debut in Singapore, alongside South African DJ and producer Da Capo and returning acts, ANONM, Leon, Milam and Mo-Shi.
