Equiti, has renewed and expanded its sponsorship of Abu Dhabi-based Al Wahda FC for the upcoming season, taking a front-of-shirt position alongside Abu Dhabi property developer Lead Development.
The expanded partnership follows a successful 2025/26 campaign for Al Wahda, which saw the club win the ADIB Cup for the fourth time.
The club also recorded a reported 70.1 million broadcast audience across 760 hours of dedicated television coverage, alongside 194.5 million cumulative social media reach during the season.
As part of the new agreement, Equiti branding will feature on Al Wahda’s home, away and goalkeeper shirts, as well as exclusively on the club’s training kits across its first-team and academy sessions.
The partnership will also give Equiti an expanded physical presence at Al Nahyan Stadium, including 10 minutes of dedicated pitch-side LED advertising on matchdays, giant-screen content, dugout branding, 3D carpet branding and static boards across three general-admission gates.
The brand will also feature at the Equiti Gate supporter entrance, the club store at Al Wahda Mall and its official online shop.
The partnership forms part of Equiti’s “aim higher” platform, which focuses on the discipline, ambition and training required to help individuals and communities progress.
“This is a club with real history in Abu Dhabi. Expanding our role here is about showing up for that community, not just for a season, but for what comes after it,” said Chantelle Johnson, Equiti Group CMO.
“Al Wahda FC embodies the aim higher spirit, and this expanded partnership lets us stand alongside the club, its players and its fans as they push for more this season.”
Al Wahda FC chairman His Excellency Fares Maktoum Al Mazrouei described the deal as an extension of a longstanding relationship between the two organisations, highlighting the shared focus on ambition, discipline, sport and community.
The 2026/27 season will see Al Wahda compete in the ADNOC Pro League, UAE President’s Cup, ADIB Cup, QAT–UAE Challenge Cup and Pro League U23 competition.
The partnership will also see the return of The Equiti Challenge, a corporate tournament hosted at Al Nahyan Stadium. The event’s second edition, held in February 2026, brought together eight institutional teams, including Abu Dhabi Police, the Judicial Department, Equiti Group and the Ministry of Justice.
