How does it feel to be shortlisted for the 2025 Financial Promoter Awards?
Honestly, it feels amazing. Being shortlisted is a real moment of pride not just for myself, but for the whole team. We poured so much heart and creativity into this campaign, so to see it recognised like this – it’s just incredibly rewarding..
What does this recognition mean to you, your team, and your organisation?
It means a lot. It’s not just about the campaign itself, but about how we work together as a team. It reflects our culture of collaboration, curiosity and bold thinking. For Beazley, it’s a sign that our approach to marketing – personal, creative, and strategic – is resonating beyond our walls.
What part of your work are you most proud of?
There were so many, but one that stands out is the CGI ducks in Chicago as part of the Around the World in 80 Years campaign. It was playful, unexpected, and it blew our engagement benchmarks out of the water. Seeing something so quirky resonate so strongly – that was a proud moment.
How do you see marketing and communications evolving in financial services over the next few years?
Marketing in (re)insurance is shifting. It’s no longer just about information – it’s about emotion, storytelling and connection. At Beazley, we’re embracing that shift and looking ahead to more bold, creative campaigns that build trust and spark conversation.
Are you excited for the gala in November? What are you most looking forward to?
We’re really looking forward to the gala! It’s a chance to celebrate, connect with peers, and reflect on everything we’ve achieved. And of course, it’s always fun to see how others are pushing the boundaries in financial marketing too.
How do you and your team celebrate success?
We celebrate in lots of ways – team shoutouts, social hours, creative challenges. But honestly, sometimes it’s just about sharing a great cup of coffee and recognising the effort. Big or small, we make sure to mark the wins together.
