Boutique Capital Partners has partnered with the Scottish Seabird Centre to highlight its commitment to sustainability while underscoring its brand values.
The outsourced fund distributor confirmed the partnership in a media statement, explaining that the business had been looking for a “longstanding charitable partner” that exemplifies its beliefs.
“In the Scottish Seabird Centre, BCP is partnering with a charity of national repute,” Rodger Kennedy, founder and managing partner of Boutique Capital Partners said in a media statement.
“This exciting collaboration enables us to be truly impactful and drive positive change, through supporting meaningful conservation. Importantly, this partnership will enable our team to gain first hand experience in marine conservation and share this more broadly, with our stakeholders.”
BCP is an early stage fund distribution business and will be making a financial contribution to the charity which will grow with its revenues. There are plans to expand the partnership to include research and education, too.
“As an early stage business we strive to effectively demonstrate and communicate BCP’s personality and values, to help shape brand perception and make the firm relatable and memorable,” said Julia Warrander, strategic consultant and BCP advisory board member.
“We identified significant commonality between the behaviours of puffins and BCP’s persona. These striking and much-loved seabirds are distinctive, committed, loyal, adaptable, resilient, collaborative and approachable.”
Florence Gygax, partnership development manager at the SSC, explained that Scotland’s seabird populations, including the much-loved puffin, face urgent threats from biodiversity loss and climate change.
She added: “Partnerships like these help us tackle these challenges and preserve Scotland’s marine wildlife for future generations.”
