PNC Bank has installed a hockey-hair-inspired pop-up branch in North Texas, celebrating its pledge to renovate its branch network across the US and support customers’ long-term financial growth.
The one-of-a-kind ‘Mane St. Branch’ experience brings PNC’s steady, long-term investment philosophy to life, using the slow-growing charm of hockey hair as a playful reminder that meaningful results take time and vision.
The branch’s design leans into this theme, styled as a traditional barbershop and topped with an oversized sweep of voluminous hair.
To bring the experience to life, PNC partnered with the National Hockey League Players’ Association and Dallas Stars players Jason Robertson, Matt Duchene, Wyatt Johnston and Jake Oettinger. Fans visiting the pre-game activation can pick up a free, limited-edition Dallas Stars Hockey Hair Hat in various styles and colours.
In addition to demonstrating its commitment to long-term growth, the pop-up underscores PNC’s broader push to support long-term growth in North Texas.
The bank has just opened its third expansion branch in the region, with 17 new sites planned, which takes its network to more than 110 locations. Nationally, PNC intends to open over 200 new branches across 12 cities and refurbish 1,400 existing sites over the next five years.
