Royal Bank of Canada has been named the Official Bank Partner, Official Wealth Management Partner and Back-of-Kit Sponsor of Wrexham AFC for the 2026/27 season.
The partnership will see RBC’s branding appear on the back of the club’s men’s and women’s playing shirts, beginning with Wrexham’s opening Championship fixture against Cardiff City.
The deal forms part of RBC’s wider sponsorship strategy and expands the bank’s presence in Europe while connecting it with Wrexham’s rapidly growing global fanbase.
As part of the agreement, RBC will also support the Wrexham AFC Foundation, which works to improve opportunities for children and young people across Wrexham and North Wales.
Dave McKay, President and CEO of RBC, said: “At RBC, we believe in the importance of strong, thriving communities where we live and work. Wrexham AFC is a testament to that. What started as a bold idea has grown into one of the most remarkable stories in sport – three promotions in three seasons, a community at its heart, and the world watching.”
Wrexham co-chairmen Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds welcomed RBC to the club, highlighting the bank’s global reputation as Wrexham continues to grow its international profile.
