More than 2,300 Team RBC colleagues, clients, friends and family members joined 8,600 participants on Saturday for the 17th RBC Race for the Kids London in Hyde Park.
The event raised over £1.2 million for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, taking the total raised through the London race since 2010 to more than £13 million.
The funds will support the hospital’s new Children’s Cancer Centre.
As a founding partner of the project, RBC has committed to raising £3 million towards the facility, which the charity says will transform research and care for young cancer patients and their families.
The London event is part of RBC Race for the Kids, a global initiative that brings communities together to run, walk and wheel in support of youth charities.
Since launching in 2009, the series has drawn more than 525,000 participants and raised in excess of CAD $118 million across markets including Canada, the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, the Cayman Islands and the Caribbean.
The 2026 calendar has also included races in New York for Memorial Sloan Kettering, Vancouver and Victoria for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, Sydney for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Montréal for Saint Justine’s Foundation.
