Revolut has embarked on a new initiative to promote money management to its Irish customers through a digital advertising campaign.
The global neobank, which has more than 2.8 million customers in Ireland, has recruited Irish TV personality Donal Skehan to launch the new promotion across digital platforms over the coming months.
It is designed to showcase the various products offered by Revolut, including the bank’s Instant Access Savings Account, its Business Account and its multi-currency services.
“We always take the time to find the right fit and Donal is a perfect match for our audience who really allowed us to put ourselves in the shoes of our customer,” said Fiona Davies, head of growth for UK, Ireland and Nordics at Revolut.
Skehan is a prominent Irish celebrity, best-selling food writer and former singer. In the campaign, the focus is on how Revolut supports him through everyday banking to enhance family life.
“The team simply loved working with him,” Davies said. “The fact that he’s a long-time primary user of Revolut, meant we knew he’d be ideal for building a genuine connection with our customers and help to drive trust among new audiences.”
The financial brand also used the campaign as an opportunity underscore its significant investment in its 4,000-strong anti-financial crime team.
“I’ve been using Revolut for quite some time as they’ve so many handy features, so banking with them is a no brainer for me,” said Skehan.
“I use the app every day, so partnering with them felt right. From day to day banking tasks to meal planning, settling bills, and getting access to great savings rates, Revolut helps me stay on top of things, so I can spend more time together with my family.”
