Revolut is expanding its physical presence with plans to launch a network of premium branded airport lounges across major European destinations.
The fintech has already agreed a deal with Copenhagen Airport to open its first European lounge in 2027, as it looks to strengthen its appeal among Nordic customers.
The move follows Revolut’s first high-street store in Barcelona and signals a broader strategy to take the brand beyond its digital roots and into high-footfall physical environments.
Premium and Metal customers already have access to more than 1,000 third-party airport lounges through the Revolut app. By developing its own spaces, Revolut aims to take greater control of the customer experience while adding a premium, lifestyle-focused benefit to its offering.
Hadi Nasrallah, Director of Product GP & New Bets at Revolut, said the company wants to “set a new standard for airport hospitality across Europe” and create additional benefits for customers while they travel.
