Richardson Wealth will rebrand as Nobelia Wealth from 30 November, retiring a name nearly a century old following its 2025 acquisition by iA Financial Group.
The Canadian wealth manager says the new name is designed to signal evolution and sophistication while preserving the family culture, values and personalised approach that have defined the firm.
Julie Gallagher, President of Richardson Wealth, said: “The new name symbolises a tradition of excellence and trust and honours our heritage while expressing our confidence in the future.”
The firm says the Nobelia name is meant to evoke high standards of honesty and sophistication, reflecting the integrity and trusted relationships it seeks to build with clients.
Nobelia Wealth will continue to focus on the high-net-worth segment and multigenerational wealth stewardship, backed by the scale and technology of iA Financial Group. The parent group has more than $218 billion in assets under administration and positions itself as Canada’s leader in independent non-bank wealth distribution.
The rebrand sits alongside iA’s two existing wealth platforms, iA Private Wealth and Investia, giving advisors a choice of operating models within the group.
Stephan Bourbonnais, Executive Vice-President, iA Wealth, said: “This flexibility enables advisors to deliver tailored wealth management solutions to their clients.”
The rebrand is subject to regulatory approvals.
Wealth managers acquired by larger groups increasingly rebrand to reflect new ownership, while trying to retain the independent feel that drew clients to them in the first place.
