Robinhood has entered a multi-year partnership with OGC Nice, its first sports sponsorship outside the US, as part of its ambition to grow its presence into the European market.
Beginning in the 2025/26 season, the trading platform will become the principal partner and front-of-shirt sponsor for OGC Nice’s men’s and women’s first teams in both domestic and European competitions.
The sponsorship features a fully integrated brand activation strategy. In addition to matchday kits, Robinhood’s branding will appear across training and warm-up gear, stadium assets and digital platforms.
The partnership will also see Robinhood collaborate with players and ambassadors to create original content, ranging from a dedicated web series to fan-focused campaigns. These are aimed at driving engagement and promoting a new era of financial empowerment.
This agreement marks Robinhood’s first major entry into European football and strengthens its strategy to expand to the EU.
As part of this expansion, the company recently launched a suite of new products for European customers, including tokens that allow users in the EU to trade over 200 US stocks and ETFs.
This move gave 150,000 customers across 30 countries direct blockchain access to tokenised shares reflecting the value of major US companies like Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft.
Alongside supporting its expansion plans, the partnership is also designed to reinforce Robinhood’s core brand values of boldness, accessibility and innovation.
