The European edition of the successful Seamless conference franchise is moving its base from Berlin to Munich for its second year.
The event for those in fintech, digital banking, cyber security, payments, and retail ecommerce is relocating to Munch with a slightly earlier venue date of 10–11 September 2024.
Speaking to Financial Promoter at the inaugural event in Berlin, Anasthassia Gattesco, B2B sales manager for Messe Munchen said the organisers decided to relocate the event to Munich after seeing clear demand.
“The trade fair centre in Munich has been getting a lot of requests for an event like Seamless. Munich is the leading city in Germany for startups and the organisers said they were open to making a change from Berlin.
“In Munich, we have a huge advantage in that we have major financial companies such as Munich Re, Allianz Group, Commerzbank, Cap Gemini, Bayerische Hypo and Vereinsbank.
“The air links are also good, with great connections for Europe and Asia, so it just makes sense.”
The Terrapin group of companies that manage the event are looking to emulate the success of the Middle East edition of the event, which has now become a permanent fixture on the calendars of marketers working in finance and ecommerce, targeting 5,000 visitors to Munich.
